Friday, April 11, 2014, Thirteen Mantas @ Garden Eel Cove, Hoona Bay.
I saw five mantas on the afternoon dive including Kai-Zed and Kailey.
On the night dive I saw Melaineh, Kailey, Csilla, Margo, Koie,
Vickey,Kai-Zed, Mike, Ralph's, Tim, Timbuktu, Scar and Rusty.
Plankton reached a 3 at the circle by the end of the dive but at the
beginning the plankton was weak and the mantas just swam slowly above
our heads and enjoyed the "human night dive".
There were fourteen boats Big Isle x 3, Jack's x 2, Kona Dive Company,
Kona Ocean Adventures, Aloha Kona Tours, Splashers, Kona Honu, Neptune
Charlie's, Wicked Wahine, Kamanu, Coral Sea Adventures.
Approximately 110 snorkelers and 50 divers.
