Friday, April 15,  2016, Six Mantas at Garden Eel Cove.
Six male mantas on night dive. Tim, Timbuktu, Kai-Zed, Sugar, Jay and
maybe Hans or Doug.  We were set up at deep circle.  Zero plankton.
Just fly byes.
12 Boats,  Jacks x 2. Big Isle x 3, Neptune Charlies. Kamanu. Kona
Honu.  Wicked Wahine. Splashers. Hang Loose. Kona Ocean Adventures.
Two skilled free divers plunged all the way to the bottom. The one I
saw had a white marker light and no wet suit. I'm told he ran into a
board of snorkelers when he surfaced. Additional dangers lurk for
people like this as I could hear boat engines while he was down. A
boat strike on a snorkeler would be awful.
