[MantaReport] 2 mantas at GEC Sat 8/23

Aloha!

I saw 2 male mantas at GEC yesterday.
We had Tim and Ho.
I think they were hanging out by the north ball with some snorkelers because they only showed up 30 minutes in to the dive. It was a great show once they arrived.
25 divers, about 50 snorkelers.
Conditions were good, a little wind chop.
13 Boats:
KDC , BID (X3), Coral Reef, Aloha Kona, Neptune, Ocean Encounters, Kona Honu, Miss Mojo, Kamanu, Kona Nai'a and Hang Lose.
Plankton as weak at the beginning of the dive but picked up towards the end, I would say 2 on the planktometer.
